OIL SYSTEM RESCUE - CONCENTRATED CLEANER - SLUDGE, CARBON, VARNISH REMOVAL
Solvent type oil additive, designed for 5-10% concentration
RESCUE consists of premium, fast-acting concentrated cleaners to be added directly to compressor lubricant, simply top off the oil sump. Rescue is ideal for older or neglected compressors. Add to your maintenance schedule to extend equipment and filter life, improve efficiency, lower operating temperatures and prevent equipment damage.
The cleaner solubilizes contaminants to restore the compressor to peak efficiency by removing carbon, varnish and other hydrocarbon-related deposits while the equipment is operating. Contaminants are removed by draining the oil.
Rescue is added directly to the existing charge of lubricant – based on the contamination level of the compressor. If the current charge of lubricant inside the compressor is severely deteriorated – drain the oil and add Rescue cleaner to a new charge of synthetic or partial-synthetic lubricant.
Made in the USA!
INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS INCLUDE:
Reciprocating, Rotary Screw, Rotary Vane, Centrifugal Compressors
Hydraulic Systems, Gearboxes
Vacuum Pumps, Airline Valves, Heat Transfer Systems
Chains, Bearings, Reservoirs
COMPATIBLE WITH Mineral Oils, Petroleum and Synthetic Hydrocarbon (PAO) oils, Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metals, Safe on most industrial equipment seals at 10% maximum concentration
NOT FOR USE WITH Ammonia Compressors, Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG), or Silicone Fluids
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Determine amount of Rescue required for the compressor
2. Drain oil from the compressor equal to the amount of Rescue being added
3. Add Rescue to the lubricant sump of the compressor up to recommended concentration (see below)
4. Operate the compressor as normal (see below), do not exceed 300F. Monitor filters for high differential pressure or clogging; replace as needed
5. If the compressor shuts down at any time during the cleaning period, ensure it is run for at least 30 minutes prior to draining the oil-cleaner mixture
6. Drain the lubricant-cleaner mixture from the compressor while oil is still hot for best results. Oil and contaminants do not drain well when allowed to cool and settle
7. Refill the compressor with high quality synthetic lubricant
