The HVD compressor motor is driven by a frequency converter, which adjusts speed based on system demand, and results in up to 35% less energy consumption. Another advantage is soft starting, and protection against adverse effects of peak currents. They also feature high efficiency screw blocks, quick release access panels, and a user friendly controller, all to minimize downtime and boost energy efficiency. The compressor's main motor drive system is directly coupled 1:1 with an elastic coupling, operates at a constant output pressure value, and features a wide operating pressure range.
